There are great places for spotting in the Azores, but there is minimal traffic. Here on the Faial Island there is an A320 flight from/to Lisbon three times a week, plus a few Dashes to neighboring islands, and that's it. The length of the runway is 1,595 m, there in the background is the stratovolcano Mount Pico on the neighboring island, the highest mountain in Portugal (2,351 m).
Senzační záběr! Navíc tak krátká dráha. Div, že tam A320 sedne. Ve Florencii mají o 200m delší a stejně tam nikdo nelétá s ničím větším, než je A319
